THE TOADFISH/OIL PAINTING

Starting with the first idea of painting a Toadfish, I wanted to have some rough edges but that was hard to maintain with the color variations and thick paint. This was all experimental so I just played around to see what works.

In the end I blended the colors with a wet palette knife.

The final painting is still a bit rough but I do like photomanipulation so that would be taken care of.
