Oil painting - I'll be Here for You Always

At first I started with blue sky, blue ocean. But it felt boring. So I added some sunset colors which made the painting better in my opinion.

Then I wanted to add someone looking out. The proportions were not right so I had to import into a new canvas, create some room to extend the ocean. Then I could add a girl. That took some trials with hair and clothing until the final pick.

Next was the 'embellishments', the plants and we have a butterfly(again).

The last frames is an experimental animation using the stop motion technique. Going forward I want to add some more elements into the motion.

Post Script.. I was listening to Adventure Time - Island Song which gave a few ideas.
