FATHER'S DAUGHTER #3
Hello there!
I have found that there are some who prefer that I create paintings like this more. I like African aesthetics but I do not romanticize it and I do not wish to overemphasize it in my art. To do so would not mean that I am not being true to my interests.
This artwork is the conclusion of the collection FATHER'S DAUGHTER. It is sad, appalling, that there are still discriminatory sentiments against women/girls in 2021. Here I was addressing the law of succession. While the law requires major changes, I sincerely hope there are more parents and guardians out there teaching their daughters to be lionesses, mentally and to be emotionally stable and maybe add some taekwondo lessons. The world is not safe for lambs anymore.
