EMEBIREN Ethnicity Collection Niftygateway

It has been over six months since I finished this collection but I felt the time was not right to release it. Then I moved on to other projects.

Quiet a release to finally have them out. To think that this all started because I wanted a dress made and had to see a tailor. There’s a lot of African community living in different spheres of human endeavors. The characters are similar. We love to tell stories, we love to listen to stories and true stories have the best flavor. And so I found myself with a plethora of women. Different works of life and ages warming up to each other strangers become sisters.

It all got me thinking and later writing about it and finally I put some faces on the characters in my head. The first Emebiren, eldest daughter from a polygamous family, trying to bring all her siblings together after years of estrangement. She is a school administrator with a side business owning a convenience store. Her home is with a husband and five kids. One would describe her as a motherly woman with strong morals and discipline.
